Zac and Miri make a porno....DON'T DO IT!!!!

We had a great week! Obama is now the president-elect!!! :) As I get older I realize that with being an adult comes great responsibility. I was proud to vote on Tues. and even more proud of the outcome. It was a great night! As I sat and watched late Tues. night, I became emotional...this was an amazing historical moment and I was part of it, my husband was and my children! I think Obama will make great changes that we as a country need! I am so happy for my children, my hopes are that they will never have to be judged and always just be known for the great little people they are! There is a bi-racial president, yippee!!!! Enough of politics....
This week was the last really nice week and we took advantage of it! Shawn celebrated his 29th birthday Thurs., some of our family came over, had pizza and cookie cake (that the girls picked out for him). Claudia and Chloe had one strange request for daddy's birthday, they wanted to get him football underwear! Weird, I know...we are a very open family, but football underwear was just weird! None the less, I looked at 3 different stores and the only football underwear I found had smiley faces all over it with an Ohio State emblem in the corner, not so much! We passed on that and got him a nice wool Ohio State pendent instead, after some convincing that "daddy would really like that", they agreed! :) I snuck (is that a word?) the girls to get their professional pictures taken, they turned out so darn cute and he loved it! The girls were soooo excited for him to open it! I couldn't believe they kept the secret from him, but they did for 2 whole days! We spent lots of time outside this week, it was beautiful 70 degrees out!
Saturday night, Shawn's mother kept the girls overnight for us to have some "adult birthday time". We went to dinner without bending over once!!!! No picking up crumbs, cups, plates, toys! It was great! Then we went to a movie, since it was Shawn's birthday...he picked, Zac and Miri make a porno....REALLY!??!?! Oh my lord, I think I ran out of that theater hoping no one would see me and went straight into the bathroom...he loves that kind of stuff, but me??? NOT SO MUCH! We met up with friends at a local club after that and had a great time.....re-cooperating today!
I finally took down the Halloween decorations and I guess now I have to think of Thanksgiving!!!! :)

Is it already November?!?!?

We have had a crazy busy week! I can't believe it is November and we now have to think of Thanksgiving, I need a break!!! Ughh! I think we have done EVERYTHING possible to celebrate Halloween! Claudia and Chloe dressed up as "Fancy Nancy"- their favorite book! Clarabelle was a black kitty. Clara was so funny, running to every house to get candy, she was a trooper, she LOVED it! The older girls had their heels on for the first half and were very slow, once they changed into some more comfortable shoes, they were much faster! Such little diva's! :)

We had my nephew Dylan's school parade on Friday, visiting with Aunt Grace at work, Trick or treating Friday evening and then Shawn and I had an adult party on Friday night, yup I said it an "adult party"....wow, that feels good to say! :) To be perfectly honest, we were so exhausted after Trick-or-treating, we got the kids down to sleep, said good-bye to the in-laws and we both plopped down in our bed...we had to literally peel ourselves out of bed and get dressed in our 50's get-up, Shawn was not too into what I was "making" him wear! With the help of my sister Rose we convinced him it was "cute", I think we are officially the ONLY bi-racial 50's couple to set foot in public happily! :) We had a blast at the party and were glad we went, just took a little bit to get there!

Saturday, we thought for sure we could just sleep in, have a relaxing day at home, do laundry, clean up, "regular weekend stuff"....ha-ha!!! As I was checking my messages I realized another Halloween party was THAT night, it totally slipped my mind...checking it at like 3:30, we were rushing around to get there by 6, kids in costume and all! They had games, pumpkin painting, hay ride and all! Again, we had a great time and were glad we did it....but come on people....enough is enough, we need a weekend to do NOTHING!!!! :) On top of all this, I haven't been feeling the greatest, so I'm especially exhausted!

Last Monday, my sister Rose and I started our spin class.....OMG!!!!! It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life...WORSE than child labor! Those people get up, get down, go fast, go slow! My goal was to just keep my feet going the whole 45 minutes, sometimes hardly, but I did it! I couldn't stop looking at the clock, we were all going to die before the class was over! Horrible! But, I don't give up...so will continue to do this to myself for the sake of my thighs! HA! As I type I realize I only wanted to eat 17 pretzels and are now realizing the bag is 1/2 gone...ughhh!!!! That means I got to get off the computer and focus! Have a great week!

Few more pics from the week!
