More Halloween Festivities!

We have had a wonderful time celebrating Halloween, we just eat it up and do as much as we can possibly fit in to our schedules! This past Saturday Rachel (my sister) had an awesome kids Halloween Party...SOOO MUCH FUN! Most everyone is in good spirits and dresses up so it is a blast! Claudia went as Abby Cadabby...I'm not really a fan of "character" outfits I must say, but she won that argument. It was either that or ANOTHER princess and I wanted her to stand out a little more than every other 3 year old girl! :) It was super cute though, I must say! Chloe was the sweetest Little Bo Peep you ever did see...and Clarabelle was sooo fricken precious in her fairy costume and we just so happened to have a cloak hanging around the house that went perfectly! Oh! And I dressed as a black cat, I know BORING, but I think I had some cool makeup! I must say my sister Rachel's costume was great, she was assassinated Sarah Palin (Go Obama!), she looked so much like her. My other sister Grace was Onch from Paris Hilton's BFF show...OMG, if you know who this is, you will LOVE it, she had the personality to go with it too! It was hillarious! My niece Lydia was a Spanish Princess, it was super cute....all the costumes were great! While we were partying hard, Shawn was in Columbus at an Ohio State football game with his brother...which to be honest was GREAT, because if I NEVER watch another football game or hear about one ever in my life again, that will be just GREAT, better he do it there than here!!! :)

Grace, Rose, Rachel and I (sister's):

The Kunkle family came in late Sat. night and are staying with us until Friday (they're from Colorado). Sunday we all went to the Pumpkin Path at the Toledo Zoo...the kids got to trick or treat and we see a few animals. It was a little chilly out, but we still had a lot of fun. Sooooo, remember reading that other blog talking about when the "wrath of Claudia" hit?!?!? WELL, the wrath of CHLOE hit at the zoo forcing us AGAIN to make a swift rush to the exit...I think she screamed for a good 30-40 minutes because she didn't have a hood on her jacket and Claudia did! Really?!?!? Yup, Claudia last week, this week Chloe gets the prize for biggest freak-out! Ughhh!!!! Until then, it was great! :) Can't wait to see what next week will bring! :) Oh! And of course we had to switch up the costumes, can't be seen twice in the same thing! He-he! (I'm just preparing these girls for the REAL WORLD!) This time Claudia was a lady bug, Chloe a witch and Clara was a pink octopus, I LOVE this costume!

In the midst of her fit...I had to snap a picture of Chloe to show her later! :)

Pumpkin Carving time...

Although it is getting colder outside, (we officially turned the heat on yesterday) we are still loving getting in the car and pointing out all the different colors of leaves we can see. Chloe's "new" favorite color is orange so she gets especially excited and Claudia gets sad cause their are no "blue" leaves...I try to tell her the sky will always be blue, doesn't really cut it though, if you know her you understand! This past weekend Shawn's mother came over and we carved pumpkins, the girls got to pick out which stencil they wanted to use and sweet Clarabelle got to color on hers. We cooked up some tasty pumpkin seeds too! ....here are some pics!

Uppercase Living

I am currently a demonstrator for Uppercase Living. If you haven't heard of this product yet, you are going to LOVE it! When we moved back to the Toledo area last year I fell it love with it, while decorating our newest home. I had no intention of doing any outside work...really, with what time? But, as time went by, this was the perfect business opportunity for me. Uppercase Living has expressions, images, and embellishments for your home. It is made of vinyl and is simple to apply. With a degree in Interior Design and 3 small babes at home, this is the closest to the Design world I'm going to get to right now! :) Check out our on-line catalog and tell me what you think!

You can now order directly from my site or feel free to e-mail me.

I'm adding some pics from our house...we have it ALL OVER! :)

Halloween is coming....

This weekend was so much fun! Shawn and I went to "Halloweekends" at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH(BEST amusement park in the country...well I think so!), we took an adult trip there while the girls visited with grandma, Shawn's mom. It was sooo busy though, we literally rode like 5-6 rides the whole time we were there. One ride we waited in line for 3-3 1/2 hours for, WON'T do that again! But overall, it was some much needed time with family and a couple friends. Today, we picked out pumpkins at a near by pumpkin patch. It was beautiful out, record high for this time of year. We were having a blast and then the wrath of Claudia hit, she through a screaming fit over apologizing to her cousin for hurting her on accident, therefore forcing us to make a swift exit! Ughhh!!!!!! That girl is so darn sassy!

I have decided to start a blog for all of our friends and family to keep up with what we are doing. It is now October and we are so excited that Fall is here (never thought I'd say that!), but we are enjoying it.  We started off Fall with a trip to the E.R.!  Claudia LOVES to do gymnastics and was doing yet another carwheel (of course she isn't supposed to do them in the house!) and hit her face right into the corner of the sofa table (ion her left eyebrow), watching her have to get 3 stitches was HORRIBLE, but we survied it and was running all over the house and resumed doing gymnastics the next day!!!  Ughhh!!!  So, to say the least, she was fine and the next day I set up a playdate at MacQueen's Apple Orchard (2 weeks ago), the kids got to pick apples and see how they keep the apples cold and how they make Apple Cider and the best part was the sample of donuts and cider at the end of the tour we all got to enjoy! Also, this past week we had had friends from Greeley, Colorado staying with us.  Bobby, Jonelle and their little ones Lilliana (2) and Caillean (7 mo.).  Having live in friends was great!  We went to the nearby indoor Waterpark last weekend while they were here and that was so much fun! They left Friday. Today, we went to the Apple Butter Festival and met up with the Scott family, the kids had a ton of fun on the kiddie rides and eating all the yummy apple treats.....dumplings, donuts, cider...etc. Clarabelle went on her first "ride"...well, sorta...she went through one of those blow-up obstacle courses, with the help of Lily (she's 8).  :)  She is our little bruiser and desperatley tries to keep up with her big sisters!  We'll see what this week brings....
